- I use Pacific C, and it is more than satisfactory for my current
- needs (i.e., learning the basics of C). However, it should be noted
- that it is only free for *noncommercial* use -- anyone who wanted to
- use it for another purpose (which would include, I presume, writing
- shareware for which a fee will be charged), the license requires that
- it be registered at a cost of AUS$99. I don't believe that GCC
- includes any such restriction.
